Puffballs Galore

1 - 8-10 oz. puffball [consult your local mycologist, if you're uncertain
                                    about safety]
marinade
2 - 3 tbsps. soy sauce
1 - 2 tbsps. pepper vinegar
3/4 cup water
1 tsps. cajun seasoning
1 tsps. garlic powder

marinate sliced puffball for 30 mins. - 1 hour in marinade solution
heat 2 - 3 tbsps. canola oil to shimmering in frypan
flashfry puffball slices, approx. 2 minutes per side, or until golden/crispy brown, depending upon preference
use ranch dressing, or bleu cheese dressing, for dipping sauce

1/2-1 gal. funkyoldfishgrease [grease/oil that's had @ least one round of fish fried in it]
1-2 lbs. potatoes, sliced in 1/2, then planked [sliced lengthwise]

Heat oil until it is roiling, immerse planx in oil until crispy brown & floating--
remove, drain, dip in favored condiments [seafood sauce, ketchup, catsup, tartar sauce, ranch dressing, dijon mustard-- whatever the HooHah! you wanna use-- you eat what you want, I'll eat what I want!],
